Knapper's Quarterly is a publication “for and about the knapper” as well as for those who collect and appreciate the art of flintknapping; an ancient skill that is still practiced today by many people around the world that involves the chipping of lithic or other materials to produce replicas of arrowheads, knives, and other stone tools. More recently, there is also a growing trend in this endeavor to produce forms known as eccentrics that are considered unique and magnificent works of art. This publication should be of interest to knappers, collectors of chipped stone work, archaeologists, scholars, students, outdoorsmen, survivalists, jewelry makers, artists, etc. In summary, this journal presents articles on a wide variety of topics related to flintknapping and profiles of various knappers from around the world.
